I am still coming down off the high of being in Sedona. I’m doing my best to recall and harness the wonderful energy that I created, shared and absorbed throughout the event.
In many of my videos I speak about developing an awareness of the marinades we willingly steep ourselves in. It’s after spending precious time with some of my dearest friends (Bruce and Gregg) that I am reminded of how important it is to continue to be aware of what, and who, I surround myself with.
So this week, I’d like to remind you that if you don’t feel good in your surroundings (social marinade), try to become aware of what is around you and then try to take a break from it. If there are people who you feel aren’t good for your energy levels (this isn't a judgment of them, you are just discerning what is good for you and what is not), or if you are in a place where you notice your energy starts to drain, remember that you have the power to control who you choose to be with, and where you choose to go. I know this isn't 100% foolproof. For example, most people can't just 'take a break' if they feel they don't fit in with their work colleagues, or if they work in an environment that isn’t exactly as they’d like it to be. But in between, when you aren’t with those people or in those places, you can choose to be with others who do raise your energy levels, and you can go places that do feel wonderful to you. This can be going within yourself, listening to music, going for a walk, or simply reading a book or watching a movie that brings you into a high vibe place. So you see, you can balance your social marinade when you discern what is best for you and try to involve some of those high vibe things and people in each day. It’s about being aware, and making that choice to do something about it in the moments of opportunity.
If you haven’t visited my YouTube channel yet, you have something to look forward to, there are hundreds of videos for you to explore on this topic and many others! If you have been following along with my uploads but you notice your marinade isn’t exactly what you like it to be, perhaps it’s time to revisit some of my older videos.
I’m so glad to have so many resources available for you all to review whenever you feel you need a bit of a refresher. I know that Sedona was a refresher for me, and we all need reminders and refreshers from time to time! ~ Much love, Anita ~
